How to act with the Driver?
The Driver looks for results and to be in charge. So, when talking to them,
• Focus on the task and expected results.
• Be factual and provide concise and organized info.
• Discuss and answer “what” questions.
• Argue facts, not feelings. Don’t argue details.
• Don’t waste time.
• Provide options.
1. Jump to action!
2. Give the big picture and the desired action.
3. Show how you address issues. But wait! It’s their call after all.
4. Ask for action, and that’s it!
